1. The service
brains is a memory layer and agentic work platform. It ingests data from sources you connect, stores it as queryable pages, and lets you build boards, mini-sites, automations, and workflows on top of it. The service is provided by brains (referred to as "we," "us," or "our") through the website at mybrains.ai and the application at app.mybrains.ai.
2. Your account
You must be at least 16 years old to use brains. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use brains to violate any law or any third party's rights.
- Upload, ingest, or process content you do not have the right to use.
- Attempt to break, probe, or interfere with the security of the service or other users' accounts.
- Scrape, mirror, or otherwise extract the service at scale without our written permission.
- Use the service to spam, harass, or deceive others, including using automations to send unsolicited messages.
- Use brains to generate or distribute malware, phishing material, or content that exploits minors.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe violate these rules.
4. Your content
You retain all rights to the content you bring into brains — your emails, documents, pages, boards, code, and anything else. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content as necessary to provide the service to you and to people you share with. We do not use your content to train AI models, and our LLM providers are contractually bound to the same.
5. Integrations and third parties
When you connect a third-party service (Gmail, Google Calendar, GitHub, Monday, and others), you authorize brains to access and act on your data in that service within the scopes you grant. Your use of the third-party service remains governed by that provider's terms. We are not responsible for outages, data loss, or changes in those services.
6. Automations and AI outputs
brains lets you write and run sandboxed automations and agentic workflows. You are responsible for what your automations do under your account — including any external actions they take (sending emails, creating calendar events, writing to integrations). brains provides confirmation gates and idempotency tooling, but the final decision to ship a write is yours.
Outputs from LLMs and automations may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Treat them as drafts, not authoritative answers — review before acting on anything material.
7. Payment
Some features of brains require a paid subscription. Fees, billing cycles, and refund policy are described on the pricing page or in your order form. You authorize us to charge your payment method on the agreed cadence. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of the service.
8. Service availability
We work hard to keep brains available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, ship updates, or change features as the product evolves. We will make a reasonable effort to notify you in advance of disruptive changes.
9. Intellectual property
The brains software, branding, design, and documentation are our intellectual property or licensed to us. These terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks. The codex — recipes for boards, automations, and workflows — is open and reusable under the terms published in our documentation.
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time from your settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if your account presents a security risk, or if we are required to do so by law. On termination, your access ends and your content is deleted within the timeline described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or continuously available.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, brains and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill arising out of your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these terms or your use of the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold brains harmless from any claim, demand, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you in-product and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
